A floor jack that slowly sinks while a vehicle is raised on it is a safety hazard. The sinking is caused by either degraded hydraulic oil that has lost its viscosity, or worn/cracked seals that allow oil to bypass. The Rislone Jack Oil with Stop Leak addresses both simultaneously — it is a correctly viscosited hydraulic oil with seal conditioning compounds already in the formula. One bottle refills most floor jacks and fixes the sinking problem.

How To Use
Step-by-step instructions
Locate the hydraulic oil fill plug on the jack (usually a small rubber or brass plug on the side).
Remove the plug and drain the old oil completely.
Refill with Rislone Jack Oil until the level reaches the fill hole.
Replace the plug. Pump the jack up and down several times to purge air.
Test by raising the jack under load and leaving for 10 minutes — should not sink.

Can I use a stop leak additive as a permanent fix?
Stop leak additives condition rubber seals to swell slightly and re-seat. They work on slow seeps and minor leaks and the effect can last 30,000-50,000km. They are not a replacement for a mechanical repair on a major leak — but for minor seeps, they are a legitimate and commonly used solution.
Will fuel additives void my car's warranty?
