Indian summers push cooling systems hard — ambient temperatures of 45°C mean the cooling system must reject more heat than it was designed for in a European climate. The Hy-Per Cool Super Coolant is a wetting agent additive that reduces the surface tension of the coolant, allowing it to transfer heat more efficiently from metal surfaces to the liquid. The result is a lower engine operating temperature — typically 5–10°C lower — which reduces thermal stress on engine components and prevents overheating.

Can I use a stop leak additive as a permanent fix?
Stop leak additives condition rubber seals to swell slightly and re-seat. They work on slow seeps and minor leaks and the effect can last 30,000-50,000km. They are not a replacement for a mechanical repair on a major leak — but for minor seeps, they are a legitimate and commonly used solution.
