Harley Davidson and Ducati motorcycles come with a SAE pigtail connector pre-installed from the factory — a small two-pin connector tucked under the seat or fairing for exactly this purpose. The CTEK Comfort Indicator Pigtail connects directly to this factory connector, adding the CTEK Comfort Connect charging interface and the 3-LED battery indicator in one. No tools, no wiring — plug into the factory SAE socket and you're ready to charge.

Do I need a Comfort Connect accessory or can I just use the clamps?
The clamps work perfectly for occasional charging. The Comfort Connect system is for people who charge regularly — it saves 3-4 minutes each time and eliminates any risk of reversing the polarity or accidental sparks on the battery terminals.
What is the LED indicator on the Comfort Indicator accessories?
A 3-LED display: green solid means battery is fully charged and healthy, green flashing means charging in progress, amber means battery is below 75% and should be charged, red means battery is critically low and needs immediate attention.
Can I use CTEK accessories with non-CTEK chargers?
CTEK Comfort Connect accessories use a proprietary connector designed for CTEK chargers. They cannot be used with other brands' chargers. The connector is a deliberate design — it is polarised (cannot be connected incorrectly) and rated for the CTEK current output.
