Why the CTEK Comfort Indicator Eyelet?
The Comfort Indicator Eyelet adds a 3-LED display to the permanent M8 eyelet connection. When not connected to the charger, the LED still shows battery voltage status — red means the battery is low, amber means it needs attention, green means it is fully charged. For a garaged vehicle, this means a quick glance without opening the bonnet tells you whether the battery needs charging.

How To Use
Step-by-step instructions
Bolt the M8 eyelet onto positive (+) and negative (−) battery terminal bolts.
Route the cable to a visible location — under the bonnet lip, near the filler cap area.
Check the LED daily or when starting the vehicle — green means the battery is healthy.
When amber or red: connect the CTEK charger to the Comfort Connect socket.

The clamps work perfectly for occasional charging. The Comfort Connect system is for people who charge regularly — it saves 3-4 minutes each time and eliminates any risk of reversing the polarity or accidental sparks on the battery terminals.
What is the LED indicator on the Comfort Indicator accessories?
A 3-LED display: green solid means battery is fully charged and healthy, green flashing means charging in progress, amber means battery is below 75% and should be charged, red means battery is critically low and needs immediate attention.
Can I use CTEK accessories with non-CTEK chargers?
CTEK Comfort Connect accessories use a proprietary connector designed for CTEK chargers. They cannot be used with other brands' chargers. The connector is a deliberate design — it is polarised (cannot be connected incorrectly) and rated for the CTEK current output.
